Growing Strong

Growing Strong is a not-for-profit agency providing services to sexual assault victims and their significant others.

Services include: 24-hour crisis hotline, medical and legal advocacy, counseling for children ages 4- and up, individual and group counseling for adults, prevention education presentations for children pre-k through college, community organization, teachers and social service agencies, professional training for medical and law enforcement personnel.

24 hour help-line, free pregnancy tests, pregnancy confirmation by physician exam & ultrasound, on-going professional counseling, information on pregnancy options, professional counseling, post-abortion counseling, miscarriage & adoption support, one-on-one mentoring & referrals for prenatal care, legal aid, medical card and adoption.

Programs:  Best program; earn coupons for attending parenting and education classes.  Coupons are redeemed at New Life Pregnancy Center for maternity and baby clothing (0-5t), diapers, infant furniture, etc.  All services are free and confidential.


Special Connections 

Special Connections is a parent-child playgroup/meeting for parents of children with special needs birth through 5 years

 old hosted by Baby TALK in Decatur, IL. The playgroup/meetings are facilitated by a Baby TALK Developmental Therapists.
