Fairview Family Aquatic Center Opens for the Season

12-5p (Mo-Th) and from 12-6p (Fr-Su). Fees are $5 (ages 3 – 17), $6 (ages 18 – 64), $5 (ages 65+), and Free (ages 2 & under with paid adult). All ages are just $4 during Friday Open Swim

 

 

 

 

 

 


6.  Decatur Park District’s Cookin’ with the Chorale: The Great Outdoors

Picnic in the park and enjoy music by the Greater Decatur Chorale and special guests Christine Smith and the Millikin’s Children Choir! Directed by Ted Hesse and accompanied by Anita Gifford, the Chorale celebrates over 30 years of wonderful music and features over 70 talented vocalists! Presented by WAND-17. Open to the public. Concessions and hot grills for cooking available at 5 p.m.

Reoccurring Events



Music and Movement at Mt. Zion District Library is every Monday from 9:30am-10am!

A fun music program for infants (6 – 24 mo.) and their caregivers. We will sing interactive songs, investigate instruments, and learn sign language. Registration is required. Please call or come in to reserve your spot.

 

 

 


Baby Talk, Ages 0-4 years

If you have a child under the age of 4, you MUST go to a Baby TALK time. Besides the socialization of your children, you get socialization for YOURSELF!   BabyTALK can feel intimidating, it is a room full of moms that you may not know. But go a few times, it will soon become a weekly activity for you and your children!    You will talk about the stages and things you have going on with your child. Sing songs. Dance. And even have them read a story and play with toys. Seriously, GO!

Toddler Open Gym – Decatur Family YMCA is every Thursday from 10am-12pm.    Cost is $2 for non-members and free for members!

The YMCA will also be offering one structured activity that could include Arts/Crafts, Cooking Projects, Games and So much more!  The Decatur YMCA is located north of downtown near Decatur Memorial Hospital.
